Applications

Gensil Paste 12 is a high performance silicone based, translucent paste, specially developed for applications in dielectric insulation, surface protection, release and specialized lubrication

Gensil Paste 12 is used in the following typical applications:

Isolator protection

To exclude and moisture and make surfaces water-resistant (ignition systems, isolator switches, transmission and power equipment, cables and terminal insulators)

To reduce oxidative hardening of plastic and synthetic rubber insulators

To inhibit corrosion of magnesium and aluminium surfaces (ignition systems, TV aerials, battery terminals, cable and cable connectors)

To prevent sticking of the contacting machined surfaces and gaskets

Sealing and potting compound in electronic gear
